REMARK
0915hrs:
Pick up from hotel within Sandakan and then transfer to Jetty boat ride to Selingan TurtleIslands Park. Upon arrival, register at the Parks HQ and check into chalet.
OR
0800hrs:
Pick from Sandakan Airport and then transfer to jetty for boat ride to Selingan Turtle Islands Park. Upon arrival, register at the Parks HQ and check into chalet.
1200hrs:
Lunch. Free and easy (walking around, swimming, snorkeling etc.)
1800hrs:
Dinner. Wait for rangers call to observe turtle laying eggs. Transfer the eggs to the hatchery and opportunity to observe the release of baby turtles to the open sea. Then overnight atchalet (Common or Attached Bathroom). (L, D)
0700hrs:
Depart from island to Sandakan. Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centerand catch the feeding time at 1000hrs.
1200hrs:
Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to Nature Lodge Kinabatangan,approximately 2 hours journey. Reach at Kampung Bilit jetty take 3 minutes boat ride to NLK
1500hrs:
Upon arrival at the lodge, refreshment will be served. Followed by brief explanation from our lovely receptionist on lodge facilities and the activities. Aluminum water bottle are distribute to all staying guests, as part of our effort to reduce the usage of plastic. After that, proceed to check in to your room.
1600hrs:
Evening boat cruise along Kinabatangan river banks.
1800hrs:
Return to the Lodge to freshen up and get ready for dinner. Dinner will be served at restaurant (buffet).
2000hrs:
A guided night walks to enjoy the wilderness of the jungle right after the dinner. Then overnight at the Lodge. (BF, L, D)
0600hrs:
Morning river cruise.
0700hrs:
Return to the lodge. Breakfast will be served at the restaurant(buffet).
0830hrs:
Bid your farewell to our staff and continue for transfer to Rainforest Discovery Center for avisit. Then, continue your journey back to Sandakan and transfer to either your hotel orairport. (BF)
"The best nature and wildlife experience"
Very much alive with trees and wildlife. Its a must for nature lover and those seeking solace and sanctuary away from the busy and hectic city life. Staffs are very professional, our sales person Jane is easily contacted and very helpful during our trip.

Comfortable jungle amenities, well organised logistics, experienced punctual guide (thanks Mohamed!). Stayed in AC chalet, good food, gum boots provided for small fee for walks. Must bring - strong insect repellent and binoculars. Very lucky on river cruise to see heaps of proboscis monkeys, hornbills of all kinds, macaques, sea eagle, langurs and one huge croc (on last day thankfully, otherwise we’d be full of nerves). Walks - civet cat, frogs, owl, kingfisher, fly catcher.
"Brilliant Experience"
A fantastic experience and a great place to base yourself while exploring the Kinabatangan River. I did 3D2N. The hotel is nestled in nature, the rooms are clean, the toilets are clean and the food that is served buffet style in the restaurant is fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable and happy to help in every way. I highly recommend staying here.

Such an amazing place. I had Mohammed as my guide and he is such a great guide, he knew loads about the wildlife and the jungle, as well as being able to spot everything! July, front of house, was so kind and helped me book my bud onwards. Great food and value for money!

We booked through Borneo Dream and had the most wonderful experience. Our guide Mohammed was fantastic - his ability to spot animals from hundreds of metres away was so impressive and his enthusiasm for his job made the experience even better. Thanks to Mohammed, we managed to see the Borneo Big 5 - pygmy elephants, proboscis monkey, crocodile, orangutan and rhinoceros hornbill. It was an experience I will never forget. Our accommodation at the lodge was comfortable and spacious. The meals were good and there is drinking water available to refill water bottles.

The guides were so knowledgeable about all the wildlife and pointed so many things out we wouldn’t have noticed. The receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly and the food was really good and had lots of options
