Selingan Turtle Island, also known as Pulau Selingan, is one of the three islands that makeup Turtle Islands Park in Sabah, Malaysia. The other two islands are Pulau Bakkungan Kecil and Pulau Gulisan. Turtle Islands Park is located in the Sulu Sea, approximately 40 kilometers north of Sandakan, and it is a protected area dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles.

Please take note that Sabah Parks allow only camera of unaided flash to take photograph of the turtle. Video/Digital Video Camera are not allowed.
Sabah Parks also forbid visitor from going around the island on their own from 6:00pm – 6:00am.

All reservation CANCELLED less than 48 hours or NO SHOW will be subject to 100% cancellation charge.
In the event of heavy rain, for the safety of our guests and staffs, we reserve the right not to conduct the boat rides.
In cases of natural calamities like flood, rain, land slide etc, NO REFUND will be given back to client(s) after the commencement of tour pick up.

Sample Itinerary

DAY 1

0915hrs
Pick up from hotel within Sandakan and then transfer to Jetty boat ride to Selingan Turtle Islands Park. Upon arrival, register at the Parks HQ and check into chalet.

OR

0800hrs
Pick from Sandakan Airport and then transfer to jetty for boat ride to Selingan Turtle Islands Park. Upon arrival, register at the Parks HQ and check into chalet.

1200hrs
Lunch. Free and easy (walking around, swimming, snorkeling etc.)

1800hrs
Dinner. Wait for rangers call to observe turtle laying eggs. Transfer the eggs to the hatchery and opportunity to observe the release of baby turtles to the open sea. Then overnight at chalet (Common or Attached Bathroom). (L, D)

DAY 2

0700hrs
Depart from island to Sandakan. Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center and catch the feeding time at 1000hrs.

1100hrs:
Proceed to Mango Garden Restaurant Sepilok for lunch. After lunch, transfer to either hotelor airport for your flight. (BF)

Great introduction to jungle in Malaysia
The staff at the lodge are very welcoming g and accommodating. My bungalow was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well.I was relocated to this property because the tour I booked which included other activities ended up being full at my original accommodation.

Great boat tours, and night walks with friendly, knowledgeable staff. We saw lots of birds, orangutans, proboscis monkeys and pygmy elephants! We were picked up from our hotel in Sepilok and taken straight to the lodge which was very convenient.

From scared to amazed

Amazing experience in Kinabatangan RiverVery good experience in Kinabatangan River. I highly recommend this resort to expend a few days doing different activities such as night walk in the jungle, boat cruise (if you’re lucky you could see Elephants). Good food, well cleaned!!!

Amazing days in kinabatangan river
We made de 3D2N packs and the experience was incredible. The most enjoyable part of the trips were the rivers cruises while finding the wildlife.Be prepared for the exciting night walks and the other activities that the people of the Nature Lodge Kinabatangan will offer you!!!

Amazing experience
Amazing experience. The guide showed an incredible knowledge of the animals and their environment. We saw a lot of monkey species, orangutans, birds even elephants (small supplement)... I would completely repeat it and recommend it!!!
