Borneo Wildlife - Clouded Leopard in Nature Lodge Kinabatangan
The forest in Nature Lodge Kinabatangan is rich in diversity where Borneo wildlife such as pygmy elephants, gibbons, proboscis monkeys, exotic birds, wild spiders and pythons can be found. They are all endangered species and kept under protection. These creatures might sound a bit familiar but have you ever heard of Bornean clouded leopards? This is not a recently-discovered species actually! The World Wide Fund (WWF) has declared the species as a new cat species since 2007.

Recently, this Bornean clouded leopard was spotted at the forest nearby Nature Lodge Kinabatangan. It was spotted twice this month alone wandering nearby the lodge area. Those visitors at that time were really blessed with luck, didn’t they? 😀
This big cat loves trees so much that they feel the safest and happiest to spend most of their time there. It has been observed that clouded leopards make their way along branches with upside-down and descending trunks headfirst. A cool fact not to be missed- their tails can grow the same length as their bodies!

Get yourself lucky to see this adorable rare creature and join the adventure at our incredible Nature Lodge Kinabatangan. Believe it or not, it is going to be worth it!
