Day 1 - Arrival • Sepilok • Kinabatangan
1.) Airport Pick-Up
- Before 1100–1115 hrs : Flight arrival
2.)Pick-up Schedule
- 1045 hrs : Pick-up from Wisma Khoo Chiew Siak
- 1145 hrs : Pick-up from accommodation in Sepilok area
3) 1230 hrs
Gather at Mango Garden Restaurant, Sepilok and proceed with the transfer to Tanini Kinabatangan, located at the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, passing Kota Kinabatangan town and oil palm plantations.
Transfer from Kampung Bilit jetty to Tanini Kinabatangan (3 minutes by boat across the river). Welcome drinks will be served upon arrival, followed by a verbal orientation of the Lodge and surrounding area. Check into the chalets within the Agamid wing of Tanini Kinabatangan.
4) 1600 hrs
Afternoon boat cruise to search for wildlife and bird-life along the Kinabatangan riverbanks.Return to the Lodge to freshen up, then enjoy dinner in the midst of the Kampung Bilit secondary jungle.After dinner
Guided night walk to enjoy the wilderness and watch sleeping birds and nocturnal jungle creatures.

Day 2 - Kinabatangan • Day Activities
1.) 0500 hrs
Catch the beautiful sight of the misty Kinabatangan River.
2.) 0600 hrs
Join the boat cruise and see the exciting wildlife as they awake from a night’s sleep. Various species may be seen such as Proboscis Monkeys, Leaf Monkeys, Macaques, Gibbons and even Orang Utans.
3) 0700 hrs
Return back for breakfast.
4) 0900 hrs
Proceed on foot with our professional jungle guide for Jungle Walk. Get an up-close and personal glimpse of exquisite insects and bird life. You will also walk on the path of the newly discovered “Borneo Pygmy Elephants” (the smallest elephant in the world).
5) 1200 hrs
Return to the Lodge for lunch.
Rest after lunch.
6) 1600 hrs
Another boat ride awaits you to cruise along the Kinabatangan River for more wildlife sightseeing.
7) 1800 hrs
Return before dinner. Dinner will be served at the Lodge.
After dinner
Another guided night walk, this time using a different route.

Day 3 - Kinabatangan to Sandakan
Don’t be surprised to be woken up by the calls of gibbons and hornbills
1) 0600 hrs
Take a morning river cruise to see more birds and wildlife.
2)0700 hrs
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
3) 0830 hrs
Check-out.
Continue your journey back to Sandakan and drop-off at either your accommodation or Sandakan airport.
