  • In cases of natural calamities like flood, rain, land slide etc, NO REFUND will be given back to client(s) after the commencement of tour pick up.

  • Please take note that Sabah Parks allow only camera of unaided flash to take photograph of the turtle.Video/Digital Video Camera are not allowed.
  • Sabah Parks also forbid visitor from going around the island on their own from 6:00pm – 6:00am.
  • **From 1st January 2020, to support the efforts to reduce plastic waste, all our guests are advise to use refill waterbottle. Filtered water refill stations are available at Mango Garden Restaurant, Sepilok and at Nature LodgeKinabatangan.

Day 1

Airport pick-up : Flight arrival before 0900hrs

0900hrs : Pick-up from accommodation in Sandakan area 0915hrs

0830hrs : Pick-up from accommodation in Sepilok area

Transfer to the jetty for boat ride to Selingan Turtle Islands Park. Boat departure time is at 1000hrs and the journey to will take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival, register at the Parks HQ and check into chalet. At 1200 hrs, lunch at cafeteria and then free at own leisure. The chalets have facilities for swimming or snorkeling.

After dinner, wait for the park ranger call for turtle sighting. You will be alerted when a turtle is spotted laying eggs. Park ranger will call visitors to watch only one turtle laying eggs per night. The warden will bring you to the nesting site and witness the egg laying process, collecting of eggs and tagging of the mother turtle. After that, observe the process of eggs being transferred to the hatchery site. Then, get the chance to see the baby turtles release to the open sea. Overnight. (L/D).Then overnight at chalet (Common or Attached Bathroom). (L, D)

Day 2

After breakfast, depart island to Sandakan at 0700hrs. Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. At this world renowned center, come face to face with human’s closest relative, the Orang Utans. Orang Utans share 97% of the same DNA as humans. The Orang Utans feeding time is at 1000 hrs. While Orang Utan rehabilitation is still the primary goal at Sepilok, present aims include public education on conservation, research and assistance to other endangered species such as captive breeding of the rare and endangered rhinoceros. Also experience a walk in the tropical lowland dipterocarp forest.

Proceed to Mango Garden Restaurant Sepilok for lunch.

Continue your journey back to Sandakan and drop-off at either your accommodation or Sandakan airport (Recommended flight departure at 1400hrs onwards) (BF/L)

Amazing experience in Kinabatangan RiverVery good experience in Kinabatangan River. I highly recommend this resort to expend a few days doing different activities such as night walk in the jungle, boat cruise (if you’re lucky you could see Elephants). Good food, well cleaned!!!

Amazing experience
