TK 08 - Full Day Sandakan Wildlife Adventure with Sepilok and Kinabatangan Adventure

1) Airport Pick-Up (For flights arriving before 0830hrs)

08:15–08:30 hrs – Pick-up from accommodations in the Sandakan area.

08:50–09:00 hrs – Pick-up from accommodations in the Sepilok area.

Transfer to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (approximately 40 minutes).

2) Sepilok Orangutan Centre

10:00 hrs – Witness the scheduled Orangutan feeding session.

After the feeding, continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre.
Learn about the smallest and most arboreal bear species, recognizable by its short dark fur and pale horseshoe chest marking.

3) Lunch

Lunch at Mango Garden Restaurant, Sepilok.

4) Travel to Kinabatangan

After lunch, continue your journey to Tanini Kinabatangan for your afternoon boat cruise.

Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be greeted with welcome drinks and have time to freshen up.

5) Afternoon Boat Cruise

16:00 hrs – Begin your afternoon boat cruise along the Kinabatangan River (duration: approx. 1 hour 45 minutes).

Spot wildlife and birdlife along the riverbanks, including various primates, birds, and other unique Bornean species.

6) Dinner & Departure

After the boat cruise, return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner in the midst of the Kampung Bilit secondary jungle.

After dinner, transfer back to your hotel in Sandakan.
